RE: Opinions on 2008 Kodiak Scamper 27CDSL
I have the Adirondack (which is very similar, same manufacturer) and we love it. We've had minor issues, but nothing that I couldn't, or the dealer fix. It is a light weight trailer, but very nice and seems to be built well.
RE: 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71-Towing
Had an 03 Tahoe that I pulled a 30' Adirnondack trailer (dry weight 6200#).. It towed well, didn't break any time records, a little iffy towing downhill. Make sure you have a good distribution hitch, and Brake controller... Traded it in for a F150, wish I would've kept the Tahoe it'd be paid off by now.
RE: TN,MS,AR,MO Lake and River camping
You can't beat Lake Ouachita State Park in Hot Springs, AR. Full hookups and roomy padsm right on the lake. My family and I wont go anywhere else when camping locally.
RE: Aerolite Seven 23rb questions
Own an Adirondack (big brother to the Aerolite) for a year now. No major issues, just minor things that are easily repaired. It really just boils down to what you like, you wont find much on these forums about the Aerolite brand, but I love my Adirondack.
RE: Could this be a glimpse of the future
We may be seeing more of these smaller rigs in the future.
DH and I were in Destin last week @ Camping on the Gulf. We saw a new small Airstream. The TV was a small silver SUV, Isuzu I believe, but am not certain. Though small, the rig was a really nice looking rig.
Pigtales
We where their last week also, and saw the Airstream. I'll bet the gas was significantly less to tow that then most of the big rigs out there.
Thor Adirondack 30RL DSL
Hello all, just wanted to see if I could drag out some fellow Adirondack owners and see how their unit is holding up. Had mine 1 year and so far so good, minor issues but nothing I couldn't fix. Would love to hear from you.
RE: Northwest Spring Rally, May 16,17&18, 2008
Looks like we might be joining the "new" crowd as well. Made the mistake of stopping by the dealer yesterday. :R Waiting for the actual trailer to get back from Wenatchee, but saw a sold unit supposedly just like it. It's a Thor Adirondack 31RL-DSL with rear living area and the queen bed up front in a slide-out. Darn thing is about 6' longer than what we have now, so of course it has more living space. But we're waiting to pull the trigger until it gets back over here and we can actually see if it's the same or not.
Purchased my 30 RL Adirondack last year... How is yours holding up?
RE: adirondack owners
we have a neo angle shower that was leaking. Unfortunately this seems to be common with this type of enclosure:(,and not just specific to Dutchmen trailers from what I see on other post on this forum.
We were getting our trailer ready to go to Florida, and I noticed my shower leaking also, we have the neo angle shower in our 30RL Adirondack. What did you do to fix this issue? It appears to be leaking from the drainage pipe (best I can tell), because it leaks at right front corner where shower meets the wall.
RE: Adirondack Slide out dropping
I have the same unit and abosolutely love it..... It appears to be a solidly built unit for an ultralight. Sorry I can't help you with your question, but hope you love your trailer. I think we've spent 30 days in ours last year.
